In June of 2007, I had a 5 bypass open heart surgery, then in August I had a stent installed in a clogged graft. This has been a trying year, but praise the Lord He isn't finished with me yet! I have lost 110 pounds from the maximum I have ever weighed and have lost 70 pounds after the surgery

FEW PEOPLE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE A FRIEND AND CO-WORKER AS I HAVE BEEN, THIS IS DEDICATED TO MY FRIEND

Vernon J. Sanford

4/29/1946 - 6/24/2008

Vern — a Ham radio operator N9PDB, and a Professional radio Technician — entered into the industry in 1966. In 1971 he moved into the paging business, working for Radiotelephone of Indiana located in Indianapolis, MCCA, RAM Mobile, MobileComm, Arch, and last with Indiana Paging Network. Vern was known by many that he helped along the way. He was a rare find if you needed a true friend. Well liked by all — he will be missed. To all who know him he was more than a friend. Our prayers for his family and all who will miss him. I believe if he could leave a message to us it would be the following song:

When I die, don't cry for me,
In my Father's arms I'll be,
The wounds this world left on my soul,
Will all be healed and I'll be whole.
Sun and moon will be replaced,
With the light of Jesus' face,
And I will not be ashamed,
For my Savior knows my name.

It don't matter where you bury me,
I'll be home and I'll be free.
It don't matter where I lay,
All my tears be washed away.
